Stephen J. Little Award
(In Memory)
Stephen J. Little founded the Waterloo-Wellington Science and Engineering Fair. For many years he was the driving force required to get the Fair established. He continued to work with the Fair until he passed away in 2003. The award is presented to the student who exibits the most creativity and effectiveness in the presentation of a project.

Chem 13 Award Sponsored by the Department of Chemistry, University of Waterloo. The Chem 13 Award is for the exhibit judged the best physical science project with an emphasis on chemistry.
The award is a one year subscription to Scientific American or another scientific journal suitable for the level of the award winner.

Ontario Association of Medical Laboratories Award $100 is awarded to an outstanding project in disciplines such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Toxicology, and Forensic Science, and incorporating analytical laboratory methods.
     

Hydro One Energy Ambassador Award $100 is awarded to a project showing outstanding scientific quality with a primary focus on distribution, supply, use, or conservation of electrical energy.
     

VIA Rail Canada's EnviroExpo Special The EnviroExpo Special Award challenges youth to approach environmental issues from a different angle - one that combines good science and creative presentation - an artistic element that enhances the communication or commercial value of the project. This could include an outstanding display, a video or rap about the project, a web site or creative packaging for an innovative product. To be eligible, projects must focus on one of the following environmental areas: renewable Energy, Sustainable Development, Resource Management, Environmental Influences on Health, Culture, Society and the Envionment, the Greening of Products and Services or Biodiversity.
The EnviroExpo Special Award is open to all students, grades 7-12 and may be awarded to a project with one or two students.
     

Ministry of Environment Environmental Innovator The Environmental Innovator Award of $100 and a certificate will be given to an outstanding project in any category which demonstrates a creative approach to an environmental problem that could lead to cleaner air, land or water. If the winning project has two participants, then each will share the cash award.
     

Conestoga College Scholarships The Conestoga College awards a $500 admission scholarship to all Grade 11-12 Gold Medal winners which becomes active upon successful registration at the College.
     
     

University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University Scholarships The University of Guelph, the University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University each award a $1000 admission scholarship to all Grade 11-12 Gold Medal winners. The scholarships become active upon successful registration at the respective University.
     
     

University of Ottawa Entrance Scholarship The faculties of Engineering, Science and Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa award a $1000 admission scholarship to the most deserving senior project from each region.
     

University of Ontario Institute of Technology Innovation Award Two awards of $100 will be given to projects demonstrating the most innovative development, adaptation, or use of technology in any subject area.
